Holy Cupcakes, It’s a Batman Party!

By Vanessa on April 03, 11

For his 4th Birthday celebration, my son chose a Batman theme.  I have to admit, I wasn’t too thrilled when he chose Batman as his theme, mostly because I’m not a big fan of the color scheme.  None the less, it was HIS party not mine, so I did my best with it.

Abe helped me bake and decorate these sugar cookie pops with his favorite toppings…sprinkles!

I incorporated the “POW” symbol from the old Batman series

Oreo truffle pops are still my favorite party treat so far!

I found these Batman theme notebooks and crayon packs in the Dollar Spot section at Target, how convenient!

I made homemade Bat Masks for the boys and girls. These were made from soft foam sheets and thin elastic so they’d be comfortable for the little ones. It was difficult to catch a picture of the kids in their masks as they were bouncing around the house.

All in all, Abe and his Super Hero friends had a wonderful time at the party.  We are so lucky to have such great friends and family!

See you next time! Same bat time,  same bat channel…
