… Make a lemonade stand!!
Summer is winding down for most of us, but it doesn’t mean we can’t make the best of the time we have left! Hosting a charity lemonade stand with your kids is a great way to teach them the importance of giving back. I’ve designed this fun & simple lemonade stand printable collection to help you make the best lemonade stand on the block! My boys and I had a blast cutting, gluing and punching our way to the perfect lemonade stand… I’m surprised (and impressed) that any sweets actually made it to the table.
To make the stand, we used a nice wooden desk and attached two 6 foot long 2×2 pieces of wood.
The wood was painted yellow and attached to the table legs with zip ties. We hung our lemonade banner on the wood and taped on some large and small printed lemon slices as embellishment
For treats, we packaged some store bought cookies and rice crispy treats and attached coordinating printed labels.
Store bought mini lemon cupcakes with printable cupcake toppers
I folded the lemon slices in half and taped together on a long piece of ribbon to make this decorative garland
Straw flags can also double as cupcake flags… it’s all in the detail
We handed out 3×5 cards of my favorite lemonade recipe, which we served. For some reason, the boys had the most fun handing out the recipe cards!
If you try this for yourself, please leave me your feedback to let me know how it worked out. I’d also love to see some of your photos!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer!!!
